Monetising Mason begins in the spring of 2019. It ends with the onset of the Covid19 pandemic and the looming lockdown. This novel continues the misadventures of a hopelessly stupid homeless dwarf, Mason Forsythe and the people around him. His "friends" and foes alike mercilessly exploit him for laughs and increasingly start to market Mason as a most improbable reality star. Mason, naturally enough, remains completely oblivious to all this. He cares only about collecting cash and then being able to feed his endless craving for junk food and high-tar cigarettes. Nothing much else matters to Mason. Once his estranged family discovers Mason has become famous, even they want their cut of the wealth creation. The Mason Chronicles 2 is a politically incorrect, some might say tasteless commentary on the world. It parodies how the system cruelly takes advantage of even the most talentless and utterly stupid of individuals and sets them up for their fifteen minutes of fame. This novel might be described as slapstick satire or black comedy. It is most certainly not suitable for children or anyone who is easily offended. To be perfectly frank with you, it is intended purely as a work of entertainment and not meant to be taken seriously. I hope you enjoy reading it even half as much as I did writing it!
