Hand crafted by The Vinyl Factory, this deluxe gatefold edition of Bryan Ferry's new album is a highly collectible release containing exclusive artwork. Featuring 'Olympia' on super-heavyweight 200-gram vinyl, pressed on the legendary EMI 1400 and encased in a treated heavyweight gatefold sleeve, this edition also contains an exclusive fine art print of the Kate Moss cover as well as essays by acclaimed writers Michael Bracewell and Richard Williams. Set to become a highly coveted release, this is the premium format on which to own Bryan Ferry's best solo album in years. 'Olympia' follows up Bryan Ferry's last studio album 'Dylanesque' which hit the UK top 5 on its release in 2007. The album features eight new songs, and Ferry's moving adaptation of Tim Buckley's 'Song To the Siren', and also an amazing version of Traffic's 'No Face, No Name, No Number'. The new songs include collaborations with Scissor Sisters ('Heartache By Numbers') and Groove Armada ('Shameless') It is the first album to reunite Bryan Ferry with Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay since Roxy Music's seminal album "For Your Pleasure" in 1973. It also features contributions from Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Nile Rogers from Chic, ex Stone Roses bassist Mani, and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 'Olympia' was co-produced by Bryan Ferry and Rhett Davies.
