Members of **Morse** are known from previous efforts with *The Ditch* (**Antony Van der Wee** and **Kristof Van den Bergh**), while bassist/guitarist **Bart Delacourt** has earned his kudos with *Milow, Novastar* and *Monza*. Guitarist **Raymond Geerts** needs no introduction as one of the found members of *Hooverphonic*.

Behind the scenes the noted TV-host and former MTV Vjay **Ray Cokes** adds his parts to this debut album as co-writer of the songs and lyricist. So rightly so, he is considered a steady band member.

The music of *'Morse'* thrives on catchy melodies that get you hooked upon first listen. The songs stick like bubblegum: it's Pop, but with the flair and ambition of the better British groups. The shimmering vocals of **Kristof Van den Bergh** makes the whole warm and easily accessible, while the songs themselves all around are smart but never slick. A remarkable debut from a band you will surely hear more from in the near future!
