26. septembra 2026 bude vydaný "Joy Division Eternal", úplne nový live box set s jednou z najvplyvnejších kapiel všetkých čias.

Sada zhromažďuje nespočetné množstvo zvukových zdrojov, od nahrávok publika cez nahrávky zo zvukového pultu až po medzinárodné rozhlasové vysielania, a obsahuje 16 kompletných zvukových koncertných nahrávok rozložených na 14 CD, plus približne 2 hodiny a 20 minút živého videa na DVD, nahratého medzi marcom 1979 a májom 1980, len dva týždne pred tragickou smrťou Iana Curtisa.

Kvalita zvuku z týchto zdrojov sa veľmi líši. Väčšina nahrávok publika znie presne tak, ako sú – nahraté fanúšikom v dave – a mnohé koncerty boli široko bootlegované. Aj keď by to za normálnych okolností mohlo viesť k suboptimálnej komerčnej ponuke, má Warner Music v tomto prípade plnú dôveru, že fanúšikovia Joy Division sa potešia týmto oficiálnym bootlegom a budú sa tešiť z kvalitnejších nahrávok, najmä tých, ktoré predtým neboli počuté.

V nadväznosti na predchádzajúce vydania New Order Definitive Edition, bude Eternal prezentovaný v 12" boxe, s mnohými diskami prezentovanými v 4 digipakoch, + mäkká 12" kniha s novými poznámkami od britského dvorného básnika a fanúšika Joy Division, Simona Armitagea, ako aj fotografie od kapelových fotografov Antona Corbijna a Kevina Cumminsa.
