The debut album from the legendary jazz saxophonist, Introducing Wayne Shorter was originally released on Vee-Jay in 1960. Included are five Shorter originals and a cover of "Mack the Knife," with Shorter joined by Lee Morgan (trumpet), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), and Jimmy Cobb (drums).
This Original Jazz Classics series reissue features all-analog mastering from the Original Master Tapes at Cohearent Audio. Vinyl pressed at RTI. Packed in a tip-on jacket with Obi Strip.
