Gov't Mule is back with their first-ever blues album, Heavy Load Blues. For songwriter and frontman Warren Haynes it has been a project on his to do list for years - he just didn't know whether it would work best as a Gov't Mule record or a solo record. Well here it is!

The band has played some blues here and there during shows, and has always done so in a unique way that drawed on the band's collective chemistry.
