2015 release from the New York-based indie/alt-rock band. Oberhofer's second album can be described as amped psych-pop with orchestral flourish, new wave flare, and grungy fuzz - the intensity has been ratcheted up. Oberhofer formed in 2008 to do live performances of music written by founder and front man Brad Oberhofer. In July 2011, Brad Oberhofer signed with Glassnote Records, which released Oberhofer's debut album Time Capsules II on March 27, 2012. Oberhofer's sound is largely described as Surf Pop Revival, joining the ranks of such bands as Best Coast, Bleached, Surfer Blood, Cayucas, Howler, and Dum Dum Girls.
