What kind of music do ya'll play?'We always get that question and damn is it hard to answer. We play music. We love music. We put our hearts, minds and balls into it and then see what we get. Our goal is to play music that reaches people in an honest way. We want to reach people in their asses and in their hearts. When you come check out a Chroma show you really never know what you're gonna get. You could find yourself in a dreamy audio scape remeniscent of STEREO LAB or THE SEA AND CAKE and a minute later be thrashing about like a horny wildabeast to grinding funk rhythms and wailing guitar and organ solos. Chroma entertains themselves and the audience with interesting vocal harmonies and a querky stage presence. Chroma has only been established for about 2 years, but their history goes back much futher. Fate has brought them back together in Jacksonville, FL after growing up together playing music in the Tampa Bay area. After much living and experiencing, the band has commited themselves to a life of music and cooperation. Drummer Alex Hayward and Bass Player Adam Mantovani both graduated with Music Degrees from UNF. Loren Gildar, the Keyboardist recieved a minor in music composition from UF and has traveled the southeast extensively with past band mates from Gainesville, FL. Eric Naor, the guitarist is predominantly self taught, and holy @!#$%!, the boy can play! Check out the clips presented here, we hope you dig 'em. We are totaly into how the CD came out and think it is totally worthy of your living room or Car stereo or where ever you want to play it...AND...the only way to really experience Chroma is to come to a show, so come and get down with us. !!BE WELL AND EAT WELL!
