Dee Clark
Dee Clark was an American soul and R&B singer from Arkansas. He began his music career in the late 1950s, singing with various doo-wop groups before signing a recording contract with Vee-Jay Records in 1959. Clark's early hits included "Just Keep It Up" and "Hey Little Girl," showcasing his smooth vocals and impressive range, and he quickly became a rising star in the world of R&B music. However, it was his 1961 hit "Raindrops" that cemented his place in music history. The song, which was written by Clark and producer Bob Schwartz, topped the charts and remains one of the most enduring hits of the early 1960s.
