Mystic Traversion is the combination of Mark Bouthillier & Missy Ray. The Buffalo, NY based duo writes and records all of their own material as well as play all the instruments. Their vast musical backgrounds and interests in many genres keeps them writing a variety of musical styles. Their music is often acoustic in nature and uses a variety of percussive and uncommon instrumentation. Missy Ray, performs all lead, backing & harmony vocals as well as piano, keyboard and bass guitar. Mark Bouthillier plays all guitar, percussion and drums. The duo writes about a variety of subjects, some very melancholy and others more light-hearted and upbeat. They continue to search for new sounds and offer their audience new material on a consistent basis as the band records year round. Long time friends, Mark & Missy, hope to offer their fans music that they can relate to in their own personal lives.
