Graham Allcott
Graham Allcott is a hotly-tipped singer-songwriter from the midlands, now living in East London, whose passionate lyrics, acoustic guitar and pop sensibilities evoke regular comparisons with the likes of John Martyn, Van Morrison, Neil Young and Elliott Smith. 2007 was a big year for Graham: he began the year having been given the first residency at the well-known Bedsprings acoustic night in Whitechapel, where he regularly played to a packed house, as well as playing featured artist gigs all over the city at venues such as Monkey Chews, the Acoustic Lounge, the Betsey Trotwood and the BBC's West One. With things going well, Graham ditched his job to concentrate more on his music. He formed a band and spent the autumn honing the band's new sound and recording with producer Liz Williams. The EP has just been released and Graham is now working on his debut album. He recently performed at "The Secret Garden Party" festival and is planning his first UK tour in November this year.
