Babylon

Period drama written and directed by Damien Chazelle set in Hollywood in the late 1920s. Stars rise and fall as the industry transitions from silent films to sound during an era of unchecked ambition, chaos and excess. Jack Conrad (Brad Pitt)'s star is waning while Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie) is about to make it big.

Manny Torres (Diego Calva) is working his way from elephant-wrangling onto film sets and can't help but fall in love with Nellie, but Hollywood can crush dreams as easily as grant them. Jean Smart, Li Jun Li and Jovan Adepo also star.
