Heaven & Hell | Breaking out of Heaven (2007-2009)
"Breaking Out of Heaven" (2007–2009) is the definitive collection celebrating the final, triumphant chapter of Ronnie James Dio’s tenure with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice.
Reuniting under the name Heaven & Hell to distinguish this era from the Ozzy Osbourne-fronted Black Sabbath, the quartet’s second act was far more than a nostalgia trip. This collection chronicles their powerful late-period run, beginning with the 2007 reunion that sparked three new studio tracks and a sold-out world tour. The set features the band's sole studio album, "The Devil You Know" (2009), alongside two essential live documents: "Live From Radio City Music Hall" and "Neon Nights: 30 Years of Heaven & Hell", recorded at the Wacken Open Air festival just months before Dio’s passing in 2010.
Available as a massive 7LP vinyl box set. The collection includes several historic firsts. For the first time, the complete Live From Radio City Music Hall performance is available on vinyl, while three studio tracks from The Dio Years compilation—"The Devil Cried," "Shadow of the Wind," and "Ear in the Wall"—make their long-awaited vinyl debut. The Blu-ray in the 4CD+Blu-ray box set rounds up concert footage and band interviews + more
The set is housed in a deluxe slipcase featuring an illustrated book with new liner notes by Hugh Gilmour, a replica tour book, and a commemorative poster.
