The Isle of Wight band, founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, are so back on their long-awaited second album, ‘moisturizer’.

Featuring band members Ellis Durand (bass), Henry Holmes (drums) and Joshua Mobaraki (guitar, synth), the result of 'moisturizer' is fun, freaky and beautiful. The album is a representation of their experiences over the past few years of non-stop touring. ‘moisturizer’ consists of manic love songs and well-planned goodbyes, delivered by one of the UK's most popular indie rock darlings right now.

Although Teasdale has previously felt almost allergic to writing love songs, this album is characterised by pure enthusiasm and Teasdale ended up finding the process empowering. This new sense of ownership can also be seen in the album's artwork - an instantly iconic freak show, with Chambers and Teasdale showing off long claws, no eyebrows and a devilish grin for the camera. The album reflects this, with the volume turned up and the band delivering a work that is unapologetically wilder, stronger and naughtier.
