Barbra Streisand | Evergreens & Yentl

"Evergreens" celebrates Streisand's 60th anniversary as part of Columbia Records. The album collects 22 songs, one from each studio album she has released. The songs have been carefully selected by Barbra herself, and none of them have previously appeared on a Streisand compilation.

Coinciding with the release of the "Evergreens" collection, the soundtrack to Barbra Streisand's movie, "Yentl", is also being reissued in a new 40th anniversary edition incl. rare demos. Barbra herself stars in the film and also directed the film, which won her two Golden Globes - one for Best Musical Film and one for Best Director. She was the first female recipient of the latter.
