You ain't gonna believe this but the Sounds of Silence is about McCarthyism. And in the naked light I saw (In the public spotlight I saw) Ten thousand people, maybe more (a whole bunch of people like CPUSA members) People talking without speaking (taking the 5th) People hearing without listening (Hearing - the McCarthy Hearing) People writing songs that voices never share (Hollywood blacklist) And no one dared Disturb the sound of silence the sounds of McCarthyism. So that is the rap. Check it out. The dude is cool.
