When I was working, I used


To leave home just before sunrise.


We live right by the ocean, and


The sky at that moment is amazing:


Bright orange rising from the horizon,


Banks of purple clouds.


I always wished


I could sit for a while and look at it.


Now that I'm retired, I do.
