The Wayward Dad
John Evans
After spending 12 years in prison, Tom Jamison is a free man. Having lost all that is dear to him, he must now rebuild upon the ashes of the past. During his incarceration he lost all contact with his children. Trying to cope with the past he must move forward and make a way for himself. From nothing he embarks on a starting anew with dreams of at some point reconciling with his estranged children, especially his youngest son that he had been a single dad for his first seven years of life. Tom eventually opens a small cafe, then a larger, and even builds a beautiful home in the country. When he feels he has established a sense of accomplishment and pride, he attempts to reconcile with each of his children. The bittersweet results are far from what he ever expected.
