A rambunctious, outrageous, humorous tale of transformation from Irish Catholic good girl to '60's wild child, and then to trainee in the demoralized mess that was the U. S. Army right after Vietnam. Bad Trip is a nostalgic tale about bell bottoms, Catholic school, American Bandstand, Star Trek, Bonanza, Route 66; school dances; the Beatles, Beach Boys, Guess Who, Creedence, college panty raids, keggers, weed, hitchhiking; the drama of Yippies, SDS, and Black Panthers' protesting and police busting heads at the 1968 Democratic National Convention; and dodging the draft, protesting the draft, or joining the military. If you fondly remember the '60's and '70's, or just want to hear more about them, you'll love Bad Trip.
