Russian President Vladimir Orlov has awoken the old, ugly Russian bear for some 19th Century conquests in its former Soviet neighbor's territory. He has a trump card in the East by the name of Sergeev. A veteran of the wars in Georgia, Chechnya and Bosnia, Sergeev is a native of Donetsk in Eastern Ukraine and the mastermind of the separatist movement. He is the only reason the war has not ended and Ukraine has not been able to move ahead full throttle with its accession to the European Union. If the US can take out Sergeev, they can save Ukraine, or so the narrative goes. Enter Jack Stein, a seasoned intelligence agent for the Center, the US's top security agency.
