When I Was Broken Imani

Her wonderful husband, Marcus, has just finished a Master's program and started his own business. She is the newest associate at a large, prestigious law firm in Atlanta, a few months away from celebrating five blissful years of marriage, and excited she might be pregnant. Yet, despite everything positive going on, she can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. Struggling to focus on work, Angela's concentration is interrupted when Marcus calls her office and demands she come downstairs to meet him. Angela rushes to the lobby anticipating something good. Unfortunately, upon seeing him, she learns the reason for her anxiety and it's worse than anything she could have ever imagined. What should have been a season of celebration now yields a harvest of nightmares, unimaginable to Angela and everyone around her. Fortunately, it is through Angela's brokenness that she births a new life, more beautiful than anything she has ever known.
