Blake Mccartney
Poet Blake Ean McCartney's underground poetry is showcased in Notes on Bar Napkins. His unique poetry brings you closer to the grit and grime of life-drug addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, and crime. Notes on Bar Napkins bounces back and forth between comedy and tragedy as McCartney writes about the idealized world of which he dreams. He then contrasts that image with the brutal reality of what surrounds us. Notes on Bar Napkins is perfect for anyone who has felt frustrated with the world. McCartney's poetry doesn't pretend to solve our social ills, but merely analyzes and brings them to our attention.
