Any re-presses will be standard black vinyl. *Lead track "Future Tense" is a six-minute journey into the deeper side of S. P. Y's production. Sweeping synths, blissed out atmospherics and west-coast male vocals courtesy of US soulster Jo-s dominate for the most part with a growing sense of anticipation. Rolling breaks drive things along with warm instruments and gently echoing repeated "future tense" vocal. Imagine SEAL and Trevor Horn re-born and re-imagined in a post-millennial jungle style and you're half way there. Expect to hear this one at Sun & Bass this summer for sure. *Over on the flipside "Roll The Dice" switches things up and sees S. P. Y go in on a darker and more menacing tip. Employing a gnarly synthline and groaning sub bass to devastating effect, he combines this with hissing percussion, tense, whirring leads and a pervasive sense of unease. The kind of chunky stepper which S. P. Y has become known for this is sure to win the hearts and souls of many a discerning D+B fan. *The launch party for this release will be at Fabric, London on Friday 20th July where S. P.
