Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989), known professionally as Avicii, Tom Hangs, Ashwin and Tim Berg, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. His debut single, "Ridvan", reached the top 20 in several countries including Belgium (#1 in Flanders), France, the Netherlands (n°2), the United Kingdom and his native Sweden. In 2011, Avicii released "Levels" (sampling the song "Something's Got a Hold On Me" by Etta James), which reached the top ten in Croatia, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and topped the charts in Hungary, Norway and Sweden. In 2011, Avicii was ranked No. 6 on the Top 100 DJs list by DJ Magazine. "Levels" which has already been a major hit in the EDM world all through 2011 but after its official release it became a huge mainstream hit giving Avicii and the EDM movement even greater notoriety. The song was written by Avicii and Ash Pournouri and this sample was also used by Flo Rida in his single "Good Feeling". This song has been remixed by several artists, the most popular were made by Skrillex, Cazzette and Noise inc. And now by popular demand it will be released onto a Limited Edition Color Vinyl along with several huge remixes (Skrillex & Tom Rez Dubstep mix to name but a few..) make this an irresistable must for anyones collection!
