Underground Sugar Caves EP

Bit of a special release we have here with a new collaborative project from Belgian duo FCL joining the omnipresent Danilo of Motor City Drum Ensemble for some seriously raw, stripped back and undiluted house music. Kicking off we have the lead track Love Prescription featuring the vocals of Stef Gustaph. As you would expect from these guys, this is all about going back to the roots of house and capturing the fresh, energetic and spontaneous spirit of those early days. This is stripped back machine music injected with warmth and soul made for big systems in small basements! The Love Prescription Dirt Dub gets twisted into an undiluted bass-heavy workout with looped up vocals and simple, pounding drums. Thereʼs also an Accapella version included for some fun in the mix. Rounding off the EP we have Matrix Plus which goes for a deeper approach with shuffling beats, lush pads and organ bass. Classic sounding stuff crafted with attitude, love and above all a knowledge of real house music.
