Superb reissue of an amazing lost boogie gem from 1981 hailing from Sweden, an unlikely hub of funk excellence in the early 80s. Originally released on tiny label Newlock, both sides of this 12” are fantastic - side A’s Supercool is a tight funky workout with laidback vocals and a super-summery feel while Side B’s Percussion Sundance more than lives up to its cult Balearic reputation, with six minutes of blissed-out soaring synths, heavy syncopated percussion and smooth bass combining to create one of the hottest things ever to come out of Scandinavia. You must have this!
