**Gilbert Becaud** ("Monsieur 100.000 Volts") was a French composer and singer who released 23 albums in the period 1953-1999 along with 15 different *'Live At Olympia'* albums. In 1961, **Becaud** wrote and recorded one the biggest-selling singles in French history, *'Et Maintenant'.* *Shirley Bassey's* version, under the English title *'What Now My Love',* was a big hit in the UK. *'Et Maintenant'* is among the 24 **Becaud** tracks - some of his finest recordings -- on this collection.
