Cheap Trick
Limited 14CD box set. After releasing their second album 'In Color' Cheap Trick conquered Japan and played Nippon Budokan two nights and they were received with a frenzy reminiscent of Beatlemania. 'Cheap Trick At Budokan' launched the band accompanied with a superb videoclip of "I Want You To Want Me" into international stardom, and the album went triple platinum. Ever since they received the stadium status and sold over 20 million albums. They were a big influence to Nirvana, according to their lead singer Kurt Cobain who once referenced his band as a 1990s version of Cheap Trick and Dave Grohl paid honour to them by inviting Rick Nielsen to his Sound City project. This collection proves why this four guys from Rockford, Illinois filled so many stadiums year after year.
