Hanging Fire
Jimmy Cliff
Jimmy Cliff's career spans over five decades, in which he established himself as one of the greatest reggae and ska musicians ever. Of his numerous albums throughout his career, several have been certified gold. In the eighties during 'The River' Tour, Bruce Springsteen added Cliff's previously little-known song "Trapped" to their live set. Soon after the song achieved great prominence when included on 1985's 'We Are the World' benefit album. Cliff also contributed to the song "Sun City", a protest song written and composed by Steven Van Zandt and recorded by Artists United Against Apartheid. 'Hanging Fire' was recorded in 1988 at The House Of Music in New Jersey and produced by Khalis Bayaan and includes "Reggae Down Babylon".
