Pressed on a double LP, this edition captures the smoky, intimate energy of the original, which was recorded over two nights in July 1975 at the Record Plant in Los Angeles - and crafted to feel like a late-night jazz club performance.

Waits delivers signature performances - “Warm Beer, Cold Women” and “Eggs and Sausage” among them - backed by a tight jazz ensemble and punctuated by his legendary stage patter.
