Little Man
St. Paul's freshest old-souls band, Little Man (lead by singer/songwriter Chris Perricelli -- a small, but tall, talent) is releasing their sophomore project, 'Big Rock.' Originally from Chicago, Little Man released their debut offering, 'Core of Discovery' in 2000 and toured nationally with Chicago favorites, Ike Reilly. Perricelli has since gravitated to the fertile Twin Cities music scene and has set down roots here. The band has been playing regionally, and shows are attracting interest. Recorded in Minneapolis by Ol' Yeller's Rich Mattson and mixed by Ike's co-songwriter Ed Tinley, Big Rock is just that, and more. It's original Pop Rock, with accessible melodies, but not so mainstream. Similar to T-Rex / Bowies' Ziggy / Big Star Little Man has the sound of late 60's early 70's rock. Perricelli has a captive stage presence and guitar style not to be missed. Ken DeVoe on drums and Heath Henjum of the Olympic Hopefulls on bass help Little Man stand above the rest.
