Over approx. 6 months in 2020, Bill Callahan and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy released a weekly cover, with each cover also having a third collaborator. The two managed to cover songs from John Prine, Leonard Cohen, Silver Jews, Iggy Pop, Steely Dan, Billie Eilish and many others. And during the process, they got to work with David Pajo, Sir Richard Bishop, Meg Baird, Cory Hanson (Wand), Sean O'Hagan (High Llamas), Bill MacKay and Matt Sweeney, just to name a few.
All their covers have now been compiled on the album Blind Date Party .
