Night Bird Blues is the next chapter in Braithwaite & Whiteley wide ranging tribute to the Blues of the 1930's & 40's, and follows up their widely acclaimed "Morning Sun" CD. Diana Braithwaite is the descendent of slaves whose family came to Canada via the Underground Railroad. She has appeared with John Lee Hooker and at Lilith Fair. Chris Whiteley has appeared on over 200 recordings by artists as varied as Leon Redone, John Hammond and John Davis. On Night Bird Blues they have once again chosen an acoustic and original approach.
