A renowned conductor, musician and composer, his works include symphonies, concertos, orchestral song cycles and more. Born in Warsaw in 1913 he was a true gem of both modernism and Polish music. Now 100 years after his birth, this extensive collection showcases his outstanding legacy. His four symphonies, the last of which was completed just before his death, are especially impressive.
