Digitally re-mastered from the original tapes, first time on the CD, Deeper was originally released as a vinyl LP in 1989. This was the album where Copernicus the wordsmith became ever more preoccupied with matters less cosmic, more rooted in the grittiness of earthly concerns. By this time, he was already consolidating the stable core of players that had steadily become his crucial assistants in the matter of instant composition.
