Danny D'Imperio (leader, drums), John Marshall (trumpet), Gary Pribek (alto sax), Steve Asch (piano), Dave Shapiro (bass). This 1986 recording was the first release by this seminal hard bop revival band. Recorded during the early 1980's at various live shows, it features the original quintet.
