Calm Before EP

Nightshade is 5-piece group from Rockville, MD. Intent on creating music without limits, their demo leans toward the hard rock/metal genre, but the upcoming album span the range of styles to include hip-hop, jazz, and techno-metal. They currently have 2 demos in circulation- one being an unplugged (acoustic version) of the other. Nightshade began as an idea in 1989. Founding member kmd, having recently read Hammer of the Gods, a biographical tale of the history of Led Zeppelin, decided that his vision would be to aspire to create something similar in his lifetime. What impressed kmd most was Led Zeppelin's ability to create music outside any one genre- folk, rock, blues, ballads. Nightshade would have the capacity to do the same. Nightshade is finishing their 2nd and 3rd albums now to be released sometime in the summer 2006.
