Second World War drama directed by Vadim Perelman. In 1942, Belgian Jew Gilles (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart) is captured by SS soldiers but is able to escape execution by claiming to be Persian, not Jewish. When he is transported to a concentration camp, Gilles finds himself inventing a language in order to survive after Commandant Klaus Koch (Lars Eidinger) requests to learn Farsi.
