Karel Kachyna writes and directs this Czech drama starring Radoslav Brzobohaty and Jirina Bohdalova as husband and wife Ludvik and Anna. Ludvik, a senior official of Prague's Communist regime, returns home with his wife after a dinner party to find that they have been burgled. When they discover that their spare keys have been taken, paranoia sets in and they begin to wonder if they are being watched.
