Street Corner

Muriel Box directs this documentary-style drama in which housewife Bridget Foster (Peggy Cummins) drifts into a life of crime after being caught shoplifting. Incessantly nagged by her mother-in-law, she leaves her husband and takes up with young crook Ray (Terence Morgan). However, after Ray and his friend Chick (Michael Medwin) carry out a robbery in a jewellery store, it is Bridget who ends up attracting the attention of the local police.
