Classic Lassie adventure. When, after years of prospecting, Jonathan (Paul Kelly) finally strikes gold he returns to town only to discover that his partner has since died and left his son, Tommy (Gary Gray), fatherless. He decides to leave Lassie (Pal) with the boy to cheer him up.
