Nighthawks / Strip Jack Naked
Ron Peck
In 1978, director Ron Peck made a film portraying the life of a schoolteacher struggling to come to terms with his sexuality, who spends his nights cruising the bars and clubs of London in search of sex and love. The film caused huge controversy on its initial release, and Peck's frustrated efforts to make a sequel in 1981 are chronicled in the companion piece documentary 'Strip Jack Naked' (1991).
