Return Of The Scarlet Pimpernel

Drama directed by Hans Schwartz and starring Barry Barnes as Sir Percy Blakeney, aka the chivalrous masked Scarlet Pimpernel. When his wife Lady Blakeney (Sophie Stewart) asks him not to return to France Sir Percy reluctantly agrees. Their agreement is thrown into disarray, however, when Lady Blakeney is kidnapped and taken to France by Chauvelin (Francis Lister) with the intention of luring Sir Percy across the Channel.
