Wonderful Things

Herbert Wilcox directs this 1950s comedy starring Frankie Vaughan and Jocelyn Lane. The film opens in Gibraltar, where the youthful fisherman Carmello (Vaughan) struggles to earn enough money from his trade to offer a viable future to his highly-strung fiancée. Carmello decides to relocate to England, where he believes he will be able to earn enough to return to Gibraltar as a man of means.
