Dark City

Charlton Heston and Lizabeth Scott star in this 1950s thriller directed by William Dieterle. When bookmaker Danny Haley (Heston) loses his business, he encourages out-of-towner Arthur Winant (Don DeFore) to take part in a series of poker games, during which the unsuspecting man loses thousands of dollars that he doesn't have. After Winant decides he is in too much trouble to carry on, his brother seeks out Haley looking for revenge.
