In this big screen spin-off of the SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE skit, two small-town cable TV hosts and best friends, Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey), spend their days and nights chasing babes (schwing!) and refusing to budge from their long-haired, head-banging lifestyle. Ably capturing a love of rock music and the goofiness and exuberance of youth, director Penelope Spheeris (THE DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION PARTS documentary series) brings a natural sense of fun and abandon to the film.
