Directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski, it is a contemporary reworking of the original version by Cherubini with Nadja Michael playing the eponymous tragic heroine with support from Kurt Streit, Christianne Stotijn, Vincent Le Texier and Hendrickje van Kerckhove.
