Tennyson Bardwell
Witty and compassionate coming-of-age comedy drama from first time director Tennyson Bardwell. 17 year-old Dorian (Michael McMillian) is finding adolescent life trying. Mercilessly teased at school about his sexual orientation, Dorian is continually having to be rescued by his elder brother Nicky (Lea Coco), the local star athlete.
When the realisation that he is in fact gay finally arrives, the news is greeted with disbelief by his homophobic, conservative thinking father Tom (Steven C. Fletcher), who promptly shuns his son's dilemma. Seeking solace in his first term at New York University, Dorian soon encounters love, friendship and heartbreak, before news from the home front turns his already complex life upside down once more.
