The Kirov Ballet, now the Mariinsky Ballet, perform Tchaikovsky's work based on the classic fairy tale. Recorded at the Place des Arts in Montreal, Canada, in 1989, and conducted by Viktor Fedotov, the production stars Larissa Lezhnina as Princess Aurora with Farukh Ruzimatov as Prince Désiré and Yulia Makhalina as the Lilac Fairy.
