Lynxes are the largest predatory cats that exist in Europe. After they were threatened with extinction due to intensive persecution by humans, they could be resettled in Germany with the help of conservationists. A special characteristic of this beautiful predatory cat is its ear tufts. Its summer coat has a reddish brown colouring and its distinctive whiskers also make it an incomparable animal. Photographic artist Peter Roder skillfully presents a photo selection that captures the beauty of the animal and gives hope that this species will remain with us.
